Lotto Max jackpot winner bought $75-million ticket in Toronto, OLG confirms
One $75 million Lotto Max jackpot and two $1 million MaxMILLIONS prizes were won in Toronto, with winners having up to one year to claim their prizes, OLG said.
Wednesday, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation confirmed a Toronto ticket matched all seven numbers for the March 3 draw, winning the $75 million Lotto Max jackpot.
Two $1 million MAXMILLIONS prizes were also won, one purchased on OLG.ca and the other a retail ticket sold in Toronto.
The winner has not yet come forward and the exact purchase location remains unconfirmed, OLG said, with winners having up to one year from the March 3 draw to claim prizes.
OLG congratulated winners and noted Ontario Lotto Max players since 2009 have recorded over $9.7 billion in prizes, including 121 jackpots and 1,000 Maxmillion prizes.
With three major prizes in the Toronto area, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation urges players to double-check their tickets after Tuesday's draw.
