"A continuous news channel is constantly adapting to current events and its (east) programming is likely to evolve," BFMTV responded to LFI's criticisms.
The movement protested against the treatment of its representatives, who were invited to make "a superficial comment." It also accused the chain of "sinking since the re-entry into a dangerous drift".
The party led by Jean-Luc Mélenchon announced that none of its members would participate, in the coming days, in the programmes of the news chain on a continuous basis.
Jean-Luc Mélenchon's party protested against "last minute" deprogramming, "unjustified" theme changes or interviews that turned into "surprised debate".
