Why Lakehead University renamed its Indigenous resource centre in Thunder Bay, Ont.

Formerly called the Northern Studies Resource Centre, the Indigenous Elders Council has given Lakehead University's Indigenous resource centre a new name: Nanda Gikendan Gamik, or 'Seek to Know, Seek to Learn Place.' It's part of growing efforts across Canada to decolonize educational spaces.
