Today, one of the most modern battery recycling plants in Europe has opened in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg in southern Hesse. Highly automated processing and sorting technologies make it possible to recover valuable raw materials such as nickel, iron, zinc and aluminium from old batteries using AI and X-ray methods and to process them industrially.
