Fuel prices fell after the president signed the government's bill, but the opposition continues to criticize them. Law and Justice (PiS) and the rest of the right-wing party are recalling Donald Tusk's words from 2022 that if the Democrats took power, gasoline would cost 5.19 PLN per liter. New calculations show that to reach the level promised before the 2023 elections, the wholesale fuel price would have to drop to PLN 4.51 per liter, according to wnp.pl.
