Super League: Bradford Bulls to Play Leigh Leopards in Las Vegas in 2027
On Tuesday, RL Commercial confirmed Bradford Bulls will play Leigh Leopards at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 27, 2027, kicking off a triple-header for the NRL's 2027 Telstra Premiership season.
Bradford head coach Kurt Haggerty labeled the Las Vegas date "significant," noting it validates the club's return to the top table after an 11-year absence from the Super League.
Leigh owner Derek Beaumont said he is "absolutely buzzing and privileged to be able to take 'little old Leigh'" to represent Super League, calling it the perfect platform for this rivalry.
RL Commercial managing director Rhodri Jones noted this brings the total number of British clubs to play in America to six, following appearances by Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves, Leeds Rhinos, and Hull KR.
Bulls director and co-owner Philip Sharp described the event as a "huge global opportunity to showcase rugby league," aligning with the board's vision to rebuild the club into a major force.
