Junior world champion in the 400-meter hurdles Michal Rada has become a rising star in European athletics. He followed in the footsteps of Pavel Maslák, who was the only Czech athlete to succeed in this category in 2012. On the other hand, the second Czech hope, Linda Botková, did not turn her participation among the three finalists into a victory.
