Maciej Berek's fate as a Constitutional Tribunal candidate depends on the Sejm – this is in no way a government decision, government spokesman Adam Szłapka said on Tuesday. According to him, "few people" in the government and coalition treated Berek as a politician; he was treated as an expert and an important official.
Anna Maria Żukowska assessed that Maciej Berek, a candidate for Constitutional Tribunal judge, is a politician. "We were supposed to be different from PiS, we were supposed to do it differently, not exactly the same," she said.
