The Most party opposed the Government's plan to burn part of the waste from Gospić in the Našica cement plant, and MP Marin Miletić assessed that Slavonians should follow the example of the citizens of Istria, who publicly opposed the burning of waste in the Holcim cement plant.
In recent days, parliamentarian Vesna Vučemilović has joined the debate on the disposal of non-hazardous waste from Gospić with a series of posts on Facebook. Before the waste is transported to the Našička cement plant, it will be further tested at the location itself, i.e. in Gospić, and if it is shown to be non-hazardous, only then will it be sent to incineration.
