Warren, Dearborn Heights residents clean up after rain, melted snow leads to flooding

Warren resident Cassie Dennis Karawan said she found out Monday that her basement had flooded overnight. Some streets flooded in the Wayne County community of Dearborn Heights on Friday. Redford Township had to discharge 1.3 million gallons of wastewater into the Rouge River. Warren is currently building a large detention basin on Stephens Road that is expected to be ready for operation by mid-March.
