Vulture struck by car in Newington

NEWINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A vulture was struck by a vehicle Wednesday in Newington. According to A Place Called Hope, a wildlife rehabilitation organization, the vulture is suffering from head trauma and both eyes are swollen. No broken bones were found.
