First Russian to sue organizers of Kanye West’s canceled concerts receives 132,000-ruble ticket refund
Say Agency, the organizer of Kanye West’s canceled concert in St. Petersburg, has refunded 132,000 rubles to Voronezh resident Yevgeny Rasskazov, the first person in Russia to sue the company over the cancellation, his representative told TASS.
A resident of Voronezh, who filed his first consumer protection suit in Russia against the organizer of an American rapper Kanje West concert in St. Petersburg, the SAY Agency, has been given back $132,000 in ticket money.
"On 5 October 2026, my trustee received a payment, that is, a refund of 132,000 roubles, which is the nominal cost of 4 tickets," he said. The representative specified that the additional amount of 12,200 roubles paid for the purchase of tickets had not yet been returned.
