Volunteers help trouts’ journey start at Apple River

A small group of conservation curious volunteers showed up at Riverwood Nature Center on the morning of April 23 to help the state's DNR fisheries technician Skye Matson and his Osceola High School volunteer assistant Mazie Gillespie transfer several thousand rainbow trout into the Apple River from the shore of the nature center.
