Speeding remains one of the most common causes of serious road accidents, the Minister of Transport and Investment announced on his Facebook page on Monday.
According to the Minister of Transport and Investment, one cannot treat someone who exceeds the speed limit by a few kilometers in the same way as someone who drives at an extreme pace. The ministry is therefore also examining the introduction of average speed measurement and the treatment of flagrant speeding as a separate legal category.
