Two young men, aged 19 and 20, have been sentenced to five years in prison, of which two years are suspended on conditions, for a severe attack on an 18-year-old boy at Vilvoorde station. The victim received multiple blows and kicks to the head while he lay on the ground already unconscious and convulsing. The court ruled that it did not constitute attempted manslaughter, to the incomprehension of the victim's parents.
