A couple in Kentucky was sentenced after abusing children to the point that one sucked insulation from the walls to try to get water, authorities said.
Mary Hall, a 44-year-old American woman, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, along with her companion, for having deprived her sister's children of food and tortured them.
