Anonymous buyer of world's largest whisky bottle revealed
- Viet Nguyen Dinh Tuan, a spirits aficionado in Vietnam, has been revealed as the anonymous buyer of the world's largest bottle of whisky, known as The Intrepid. He owns a whisky and cognac collection valued at €158.3m and received the official Guinness World Records certificate.
- The 311-litre bottle was created by Daniel Monk and filled with 32-year-old Macallan single malt Scotch. It was auctioned for over €1m last year and was named The Intrepid in honor of 11 pioneering explorers featured on the bottle.
- Viet Nguyen Dinh Tuan's collection includes other rare and valuable bottles, such as the only complete Macallan Fine & Rare series and the world's largest bottle of cognac. He values each bottle for its rarity and the history and traditions of whisky-making.
