Victorians warned of severe thunderstorm asthma season

Summary by Ground News
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are continuing across Victoria. Some property owners in Victoria's north-west have recorded more than 90 millimetres of rain over the past two days. A number of dams and reservoirs are threatening to overflow or even burst. It comes as Melbourne residents are being warned to prepare for a thunderstorm asthma event similar to the 2016 tragedy. Thunderstorm asthma happens when gusty storms from the north- west coincide with high pollen counts.
