Victoria photographer earns a spot in the 'Olympics of photography'

A Victoria photographer earned a spot in the World Photographic Cup, known as the 'Olympics of Photography' for his submission depicting chaos at the Louvre's Salle des États.
The photograph was selected after three qualifying rounds and represents Team Canada in the competition's commercial category.
Although the photograph did not make the top 10, Milliken will still travel to Quito, Ecuador, to represent Canada and see the winners announced.
Lee Milliken, who transitioned to photography full-time, described the trip to Paris as spur-of-the-moment and stated, 'The chaos that surrounds the Mona Lisa, it's unreal.
