Former State Secretary Veronka Varga-Bajusz was transferred from her place of detention in Kecskemét to the Kiskunhalas prison and will remain in pretrial detention until February.
Veronika Varga-Bajusz, former State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, was transferred from Kecskemét to Kiskunhalas, her lawyer, Dávid Balázs, told Index.
The former secretary of state appealed the decision, as his lawyer said there was no justification for the coercive measure.
He was sent to the Kiskunhalas prison, presumably in worse conditions, his lawyer said.
