V for Vendetta Returns to Theaters for Its 20th Anniversary, and the Epic New Trailer Promises an Explosive Trip Back to Dystopian London

- Warner Bros Motion Picture Group, Saga Arts, and Fathom Entertainment announced Friday that tickets are now on sale for the 20th anniversary theatrical re-release of V for Vendetta, returning to theaters nationwide on November 1 and November 5, 2026.
- Directed by James McTeigue and produced by the Wachowskis, the 2004 film is based on the DC Vertigo graphic novel by Alan Moore and David Lloyd, starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving in dystopian Britain.
- An exclusive featurette, "Freedom Forever," with McTeigue accompanies the re-release, while the new trailer features a reimagining of Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" by Jonathan Snipes of the experimental hip-hop group clipping.
- Twenty years later, the film's themes of freedom, identity, and resistance continue to resonate, holding a 90% Popcornmeter score and a 73% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes.
- "Fathom is thrilled to bring this great movie back to theatres," said Shannah Miller, Vice President of Marketing at Fathom Entertainment, noting the re-release targets a new generation of audiences.
