UTEP Women's Golf Earns Six WGCA All-American Scholar Selections
The Seminoles had four players honored among 1,551 women’s collegiate golfers for classroom and course performance.
- On Monday, the WGCA All-American Scholar Team named Florida State golfers Sophia Fullbrook, Haruhi Nakatani, Layla Pedrique, and Elin Pudas Remler to the 2025–26 honor, joining 1,551 collegiate golfers recognized nationally for academic and on-course excellence.
- To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 while competing in at least 50 percent of their team's scheduled rounds through the conference championship.
- Fullbrook, a psychology major with a 3.93 GPA, led the group with a 71.09 stroke average, while Nakatani , Pedrique , and Pudas Remler also earned the honor.
- This marks the seventh consecutive year at least three Seminoles earned this recognition; under head coach Amy Bond, 23 different Seminole golfers have combined to earn 43 WGCA All-America Scholar honors.
- For 13 consecutive seasons, the Florida State women's golf program has placed at least one golfer on the national scholar team, reflecting sustained academic excellence within the program.
