The Croatian Uskok has filed an indictment against the former head of Croatian Roads (HC) Josip Škorić on suspicion of arranging jobs for his cousin, the director of Osijek Koteks, and the director of another company, who in return paid him for a car, clothes, a party, and work on his house worth 130,000 euros. USKOK has launched an investigation against three Croatian citizens, including the former head of Croatian Roads, on suspicion of receiving and giving bribes in business transactions.
The indictment charges Škorić with having reached a corrupt agreement in Zagreb and Osijek, as the president of the board of the company Hrvatske ceste, between June 2022 and the end of May 2024, with the second defendant, the director of a company with whom he was personally connected, and the third defendant, the president of the board of a company from Osijek.
