US special envoys will meet with President Putin in the Kremlin tomorrow, Tuesday. According to press reports, they will negotiate not only peace but also trade relations.
American negotiators are pressuring the Ukrainians to make territorial concessions, while the Kremlin's demand to gain the part of Donbas that Russian troops have not yet conquered remains on the table.
Around 2:00 a.m. Polish time, the American delegation, led by Steve Witkoff, departed from a Florida airport for Moscow, TASS reported. There, they will be met by Vladimir Putin, with whom they will negotiate the terms of a new peace plan for Ukraine. "This is an important day for peace," said Kirill Dmitriev, a close ally of Putin.
