Around 2:00 a.m. Polish time, the American delegation, led by Steve Witkoff, departed from a Florida airport for Moscow, TASS reported. There, they will be met by Vladimir Putin, with whom they will negotiate the terms of a new peace plan for Ukraine. "This is an important day for peace," said Kirill Dmitriev, a close ally of Putin.
