An emergency plane landed on Wednesday morning near PR-2 in Vega Baja, authorities said. According to news reports, the 22-year-old pilot managed to land on a grassland. It was indicated that he is in good condition. Fortunately, there were no injured people.

A CV-22 Osprey transport aircraft from the U.S. Yokota Air Base (Tokyo) made an emergency landing at the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Utsunomiya Airfield in Tochigi Prefecture on the 10th. The Ministry of Defense notified the relevant local governments by the 12th. The U.S. side contacted them to say it was a "precautionary landing" to avoid an accident. The aircraft left the airfield on the 11th.
