Gasoline and distillate reserves in the U.S. dropped sharply last week, according to the EIA, in an environment of tension with Iran.The use of refineries dropped to 92.5%, while crude reserves rose slightly, amid a rise in the price of oil.
The EIA shows an unexpected increase due to the slow pace of the refineries, while Washington continues to take crude oil out of the Strategic Reserve, as early as 1982, and the Gulf re-exports more oil.
