US to send two Iron Dome batteries to Israel

The Pentagon plans to provide Israel with two Iron Dome missile defense systems to assist in their fight against Hamas, as part of the ongoing support from the U.S.
The U.S. Army previously purchased the Iron Dome systems to address cruise missile defense needs and fill a gap, but does not plan to integrate the system further into its air defense architecture.
In addition to the Iron Dome systems, the U.S. Has deployed air defense supplies, munitions, artillery rounds, armored vehicles, and precision-guided munitions to Israel as part of the aid package.
