Homeowners in Jamestown are not eligible for disaster loans to repair or replace personal property and real estate damaged by severe storms and flooding that occurred from Dec. 17-19 and Jan. 9-13. The Jamestown Press erroneously reported that Newport County was added to the declaration issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
