Every year since 1996, the town hall in Gengenbach has been transformed into the largest Advent calendar in the world!Instead of chocolate, there is art here:The 24 windows of the town hall are open day after day and show works by internationally renowned artists. Every year 120,000 visitors go to Gengenbach to watch the Advent calendar and it is a highlight far beyond South Baden.
