Xpeng L03 Launches in Europe at 40,740 USD to Fight for Market Share
Xpeng says the L03 starts at €34,990 and gives European buyers five trims, fast charging and driver-assist hardware as it targets Tesla Model Y.
- Xpeng unveiled the L03 electric SUV-coupe in Europe this week, opening orders across more than 60 markets to directly challenge the Tesla Model Y-class.
- Starting at €34,990 in France, the L03 undercuts Tesla's adjusted German pricing of €38,970 by roughly €3,400, intensifying competition in the electric SUV segment.
- The vehicle supports 236 kW fast charging, reaching 80% battery in 20 minutes, while the Long Range trim delivers 440 km of range under WLTP conditions.
- In Norway, the 299,900 kroner price sits exactly 100 kroner below the 25% VAT threshold, providing roughly $10,400 in advantage over Tesla's Model Y.
- With current US tariffs on Chinese vehicles blocking Xpeng's US entry, the company registered more than 4,600 vehicles in June across Europe, marking a fourth straight monthly record.
