KYIV BLOG: It’s time to drop the charade that Ukraine can join Nato
Ukraine has rejected any alternative security guarantees to full NATO membership, viewing it as essential for defense against Russian aggression.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry labeled the Budapest Memorandum as a "monument to short-sightedness in strategic security decisions," insisting that alternatives will be ineffective.
