UK health food company with 10,000s of online followers enters administration
The London health food chain is at risk of closing after administrators were appointed, with nearly 72,000 Instagram followers and 10,000 on Facebook.
After 13 years of trading, Press London Ltd has entered administration with Marco Piacquadio and Rachel Elizabeth Ennis from FTS Recovery Limited appointed as administrators, according to Companies House.
The company's insolvency follows a turbulent start to 2026 for the UK high street, with major retailers including LK Bennett and Claire's closing all stores in April after entering administration.
Based in London, Press launched in 2013 with a mission to bring healthy nutrition to the UK and has amassed nearly 72,000 followers on Instagram and 10,000 on Facebook.
Daily management and control have been handed to Piacquadio and Ennis, though the company may continue to trade while operating under a statutory moratorium during the administration process.
Administrators have 8 weeks to formulate proposals for creditors, who will then vote to approve or reject restructuring plans, with proceeds from any business sale distributed in statutory order of priority.
