- Four survivors, including two occupants from each vehicle, were treated at Masaka Regional Referral Hospital while police documented the scene and investigated the crash.
- Authorities are searching for the truck driver who fled the scene, as this collision follows a series of fatal accidents in recent weeks that claimed at least 37 lives.
