With a printed skull, the garment was linked to the British band Death in June, which uses symbols, names, and military uniforms associated with the Third Reich.
In Brazil, a student who came to a university wearing a t-shirt with the Waffen SS skull logo, a Nazi symbol, was attacked by a group. The student was beaten and kicked by a large crowd of students at the university. The incident was captured on a cell phone camera.
