Ty Gibbs, grandson of Pro Football Hall of Famer and Nascar Hall of Famer Joe Gibbs, will join the Nascar Cup Series in 2023. Gibbs replaces Kyle Busch at Joe Gibbs Racing, and he will switch from the No. 18 car to the No. 54 entry. The announcement comes just after his father, Coy Gibbs, died.
