HOUSTON (KIAH) -- Auto pedestrian and bicyclist accidents are on the rise in Texas. Between 2018 and 2022, the Texas Department of Transportation has reported a 30% increase in auto pedestrian fatalities and a 28% increase in bicyclist deaths.
