Two-time champion Aryna Sabalenka and Wimbledon winner Jannik Sinner lead the US Open fields
Sabalenka seeks a third straight U.S. Open title and Sinner arrives after his Wimbledon victory as 14 U.S. men and 14 U.S. women earn direct entry.
On Tuesday, the USTA announced the direct-entry lists for the final Grand Slam of the season, the Open.
Two-Time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka and Wimbledon winner Jannik Sinner lead the fields for the Open, which begins next month.
Italian Sinner, who recently defeated French Open champion Alexander Zverev at Wimbledon, seeks to regain the title Carlos Alcaraz claimed in last year's final.
WTA top-ranked Sabalenka arrives at Flushing Meadows attempting to become the first woman to win three consecutive Open titles since Serena Williams from 2012-14.
The 128-player field includes 14 men and 14 women with direct entry, while the Tennis Association will fill remaining spots through qualifying and wild cards.
