In unofficial election results, Jay Andrews has been elected the next mayor of Albia in a four-way race and two of three incumbents running for re-election to the Albia City Council have been defeated.

Voters in Ketchum have rejected a measure that would have changed the citys form of government from a mayor-council system to a council-manager system.The proposal, which was brought to the ballot through a citizen initiative, would have replaced the citys elected mayor with a hired city manager overseeing day-to-day operations.
