Two neglected horses died, third seized in Tongeren: "We have been ringing the alarm bell for 4 years"

Three severely neglected horses were to be seized in Tongeren on Tuesday. However, the police had to determine on site that two animals had already died, a third was transferred to the Bird and Mammal Shelter Center in Heusden-Zolder. "The mare is indeed very thin, but I currently estimate her chances positively," says Rudi Oyen from the shelter.
