Two kitchen fires in Agassiz prompt safety warning

The Agassiz Fire Department (AFD) reminds the public to be mindful when cooking after two kitchen fires in a single week. On Aug. 3, the AFD was called to reports of a residential structure fire on the 2000 block of McCaffery Road and another two days later on the 7300 block of Elm Road in Agassiz.
