Two Durham volunteers receive medals from Governor General

Two men from Durham are being recognized for their exceptional volunteer achievements on the national stage. Both received the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers from Governor General Mary Simon on Thursday during a ceremony in the Rideau Hall Ballroom in Ottawa.
