Two Carabineros arrested in Valparaíso who were linked to a smuggling network - La Tercera

The Investigative Police (PDI), in a joint work with the Valparaiso Prosecutor's Office, managed to arrest two Carabineros officials who would be linked to a smuggling network. The arrests were carried out as part of an operation where a total of 17 people were captured. According to police information, the officials handed over “key data” to the gang, which allowed the group to flee places to avoid prosecution or right-hand arrest.
