Federal agents arrested two men carrying 10 kilos of fentanyl and 8 of hero na on a bus in Hermosillo, Sonora.
In Sonora, two people carrying 10 kilos of fentanyl and 8 kilos of heroin, inside a compartment hidden in a bus, were arrested by elements of the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) and the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), through the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), as part of the investigation, security and surveillance efforts to inhibit drug trafficking on the country's roads.
In Hermosillo, Sonora, federal authorities secured ten kilos of fentanyl and eight kilos of heroin. The Security Cabinet reported that “research and surveillance work on roads, in Hermosillo, Sonora, elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency of @FGRMexico and @SSPCMexico arrested two people carrying 10 kilos of fentanyl and 8 kilos of heroin hidden in a bus compartment.”
The confiscation takes place in the midst of the strengthening of Mexican operations against the trafficking of synthetic drugs, particularly fentanyl, one of the main issues on the security agenda between Mexico and the United States.
