Two dead after avalanche near Nuuk

The avalanche occurred this afternoon in an area called Aqqitsoq and lying west of Nuuk. Two have been found dead. According to a police report, they are deceased in their thirties and both reside in Nuuk. Initially, it was believed that a group of locomotives got into the flood. Police say operations at the scene are over and no more are missing.
