District due to join talks with Halifax and others on possible voluntary mergers WHITINGHAM—The Twin Valley School Board voted 5-1 at its September 8 meeting to remain in a merger study group with districts that have public high schools. The board will attend the first study group meeting and then decide if a change of course is needed. The board’s alternative: be the lone public high school within an all-school choice study group.
