Canadian climate experts say the dismantling of a major U.S. research centre could drive some of the world’s top climate scientists north of the border, reshaping where critical weather and climate research is done.
The Trump administration announced on Wednesday 17 December its intention to close the National Atmospheric Research Centre (NCAR) in Boulder, Colorado. The organization is accused of being "one of the main sources of climate alarmism in the United States".
