Trump would raise the US debt by twice as much as Harris, report finds
A new analysis suggests that a Kamala Harris presidency could increase national debt by $3.5 trillion over ten years, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
The same analysis states that Donald Trump's plans could add $7.5 trillion, potentially rising to $15.2 trillion.
The analysis warns that debt would grow faster than the economy under both candidates' plans.
