The state government in Trento has decided to amend the rules governing the control of wild boars. The aim is to reduce the spread of animals that are increasingly damaging agricultural land.

Trentino is taking new measures against the spread of wild boar. In the framework of a pilot project, the arching of the animals is to be allowed from 2027.
