Town of Basalt formally opposes ballot question targeting Midland Ave construction project

Basalt Town Council unanimously voted to oppose the ballot question on an upcoming special election that aims to retroactively limit the multi-million dollar infrastructure and beautification project of downtown Basalt’s main street.  The ballot question asks voters to consider strengthening the town’s commitment to spending bond funds and limiting the reconfiguration of parking downtown.
