It remains an issue in the Tour. After Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar, Remco Evenepoel also received a visit from doping control officers late last night. Everyone at Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe (and several other teams as well) had to get out of bed again for a test. “Everything went according to the rules; this is just part of the game.”
The anti-doping agents came to the hotel of the German team at around 10 p.m.
In particular, the Decathlon CMA CGM, Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe and Groupama-FDJ have had an anti-doping test on Monday evening at 10pm, a few hours before the 16th stage of the Tour de France. These visitors intervene almost days after those passed by Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard, awakened in the middle of the night.
Many teams committed to the Grand Loop were subjected to unannounced anti-doping checks at their hotel on Monday evening.
